The Toy Shop Challenge

Second Challenge;

So for the next part of the story we are taken to Ella's Toy Shop where the reds have been removed from the store and what the children are going to be doing here is a simple drag and drop style game where they have to rebuild the destroyed toys.  By rebuilding the toys they also manage to fix the colours.

This was something I had never done before and was actually surprizingly simple to accomplish, what I did was first of all in Illustrator I created the different toys, and then selected sections of the toys for grouping and splitting from the rest of the group, allowing me to create a type of jigsaw puzzle.  This was a complished by turning the different parts into symbols and then naming them for the code.  I then had to activate the button mode so that if used on a desktop the you can see when you have it selected.  Once this was all done I had to create variables for the start and finish points so that if you dont get it in the right place that it snaps back to where it started off, but because no one can get the exact pixels correct I also added in an offset so that it didn't need to be exact it just had to be in a certain range, in the case of the app 20 pixels.

once the toy is rebuilt a button appears which allows you to fix the colour on the toy returning it back to its former glory.

on the left we have the drag application, and on the right animate showing a section of the code
